While brainstorming for a tribute video for the graduating seniors, I ran across a student-produced orientation video from the 2014-15 school year, when the now-seniors were bright-eyed freshmen. This prompted an idea of having a number of seniors write a letter to their freshman selves. I ended up using the orientation video that inspired this idea in the beginning to further the nostalgic feelings.
Project Responsibilities: Creative Producer throughout the whole creative process, including storyboarding, cinematography, and editing. This video ended up being used as a celebratory video for graduation, a video sent to confirmed incoming students as a message from the graduating seniors, and the following year’s orientation video as a letter to the incoming freshmen class.
Professor Matthew Milliner, Professor of Art History, approached me one day and asked me if I’d be interested in producing a piece about Wheaton College art major students leading tours in the Art Institute of Chicago. This was a no-brainer; being able to film in one of the world’s most prestigious art galleries is an opportunity that no creative could ever pass up.
Project Responsibilities: Creative Producer throughout the whole creative process, including storyboarding, studio voice recording, cinematography, and editing. Collaborated with Dr. Milliner to produce video for the institutional social media platforms and Art Department website landing page.
Autumn in the midwest is truly a sight to see. Wheaton College’s campus suddenly sky-rocketed in saturation and color; therefore, it was a joy spending time outside in the most beautiful weather capturing the leaves falling and the students sprawled across the lawn. The collaboration with a poet was also a unique aspect of this project and elevated the visual images to another level.
Project Responsibilities: Creative Producer throughout the whole creative process, including script editing, storyboarding, studio voice recording, cinematography, and editing. Collaborated with a student poet to produce this piece that was released on all institutional social media channels.
Highlight videos are always a little dry. I decided to incorporate the “selfie” concept to this particular highlight video to frame the whole weekend from the point-of-view from our student media team, who captured all highlight footage.
Project Responsibilities: Creative Producer throughout the whole creative process, including storyboarding, directing, managing a 10-person team, cinematography, and editing. Managed a 10-person team to produce a comprehensive orientation video for the institutional social media platforms.
